What is NEET?

If you want to go in a medical field then you have to give an test that is NEET. It’s an entrance exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), NEET is an national eligibility entrance test conducted for various medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS. Every year more than 14 lakh students give this test.

Who can give NEET?

There are certain criteria laid down for taking the NEET exam. A student completing these can take the NEET exam.

  • Must have passed 12th standard with minimum 50 percent marks. Along with this, subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology are compulsory in the 12th.
  • Age should be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years. (There is also a provision for age relaxation for reserved candidates)
  • It is mandatory to have an Aadhaar card.

How To Apply For NEET?

You can fill the NEET form by visiting the official website of NEET. You have to register on the website first and after that you will be able to fill the form. After filling the form, you have to take a print of all the documents and send it to the following address.

NEET Exam Pattern

  • The NEET exam consists of 180 objective type questions, consisting of 45 questions from botany, 45 questions from physics, 45 questions from chemistry and 45 questions from zoology.
  • You will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The exam time will be 3 hours.
  • The question papers will be in both Hindi and English languages.
